Devney Perry has never disappointed me but I have to admit I was scared for this book. If you have read The Birthday List, you know that this story is about a divorced couple that has not broken up as friends. There were many fans that wanted this book but I was not one of them because I didn’t know how it could be handled. This author made the best of it and despite the circumstances , she wrote a lovely second chance story.
Molly and Finn fell in love young but their life took a bad turn. Now they are the parents of two kids and have been separated for six years. One night of too much wine brings a night of passion but some letters from the past make them face their painful memories.
This is a book full of angst but love wins in the end. They have treated each other badly in the past so it has a bittersweet vibe but the characters grow up and learn from their mistakes.
This book is raw and real but most of all it is about forgiveness, healing and the power of love!
