Griffin is content with his small town life until a “princess” crashes into it! He has no place for her but soon she steals his heart with her cute ways. Blair has escaped her wealthy family to start over and begin completing her dreams. She is broke but determined but sometimes you just have to ask for a helping hand and whose better than the sexy mechanic’s?
Their relationship starts quickly as their attraction cannot be contained and although that it is temporary , their feelings are anything but. This is an insta-lust kind of thing but you will not be bothered because they are good together.
Blair is such a delightful person. I was thinking that she might be naive but she is not. She is smart, organized and innovative. She chases her goals and although she is a chatterbox , she is not a fool. She says her mind and has an honest opinion. Griffin is a man closed off but he opens his home and his heart to Blair. He is loyal, protective and behind the hard facade there is man who falls in love. Sometimes I wanted to throttle him because he is harsh with words that hurt Blair but he realizes his mistake soon enough and he is not afraid to apologize.
I read this book in one sitting and I loved the fact that this story made me forget all the hardships. Drive Me Wild is a wonderful start to this new series and I cannot wait for the next one which is going to be a single dad romance, one of my favorite tropes!
