New Review- An Earl to Remember by Stacy Reid

Stacy Reid writes historical books to remember! An Earl to Remember is a steamy, sweet story inspired by the 80’s movie Overboard.

Daniel is rich, famous and a complete rake. Georgianna is a gentleman’s daughter but she has to work to provide for her younger sisters and save her parents’ house.

When she is hired to cater his yacht , she just have to stay away from the Earl. The problem is he finds her irresistible until his mistress becomes jealous and she is fired and he is thrown overboard.

When he is saved he has no idea about his identity and Georgie finds the perfect excuse to get her revenge. The charming man will be her husband and work his debt off until his memory comes back.

This couple is on fire! Daniel in the beginning is not shed on positive light but everything changes after his amnesia. He is protective, fun and caring. Also, I did melt whenever he called her “wife”. Georgianna is a strong woman who knows what she wants and takes it. I loved that she is a cook and she is not afraid to fight for her family.

Most historical books have the rich man/poor girl trope but it was really fun to see an Earl getting his hands dirty.

An Earl to Remember is a delightful story with swooning characters and heat that burns the sheets!
