Olivia could not know that when she left her grandfather’s farm years ago that she would never see him again. Now she leaves everything behind and goes back to her hometown to save the dairy farm she has inherited. She has one big problem though; a hunk of a man, Jake, the sexy farmer.
Jake had no family until Olivia’s grandfather did everything to give him a home. Now the city girl is back to destroy everything he knows but he won’t let her big ideas to get in the way.
Olivia and Jake are completely different but they see that united are better than apart. Their banter is off the charts and their chemistry is scorching hot. Olivia is a bubbly girl, a sweetheart. I loved her sunny attitude and her positivity. Jake is a gruff man that is protective and there when needed. Although, he is harsh sometimes, I liked the fact that all his negativity comes from his insecurity to lose his home and those he loves.
I love Staci Hart’s romantic comedies and this one is no exception. Bet the Farm is a balm to those difficult times we live on. It brings smiles and laughs with its cute couple and even cuter farm animals!
