New Review- Dane’s Storm by Mia Sheridan

Mia Sheridan is one of my top favorite authors and it is not by mistake. No matter the story she is always affecting my heart making me feel deeply. Dane’s Storm is an emotional second chance romance that has a great deal of adventure but mainly a lot of soul.

Audra and Dane fell in love when they were young but their love was the forever kind. When a tragedy breaks them apart , they stay away from each other for many years , each one taking their own path learning to live with the pain and the separation.

When fate and a little meddling brings them back together , they have many obstacles to overcome. Not only do they have to face the power of nature after their plane crashes on the mountains but also the ghosts of their past. Once upon a time pressure broke them but now they have to learn to fight together instead of apart.

I am not usually a fan of second chance romance but this one is perfectly executed. The way they fell in love was adorable and you could see that they were ideal for each other. The reason why they broke up was not because they stopped being in love but because they were drowned in misery and they were too young to know what to do. It was heartbreaking but believable.

Their second chance is not easy because of the circumstances but the time they have to spend with each other forces them to face their troubles head on. Although their fight with the elements of nature is fascinating , their getting back together is the one that will exhilarate you more. It is not easy to have your soul naked and breaking the walls but these two will do just that so they can move forward.

Audra is a shy, reserved woman and Dane has to push her to open up sometimes but the guilt and the fears she hides are deep into her soul.I loved how she found her strength and her confidence. Dane is a man who is logical and knows what he wants. I admired his will and his openness.

I think maybe some of you won’t like that Dane moved forward in the years of the separation but I found it believable. Not only that but you can see that in reality they stayed true to their love despite their efforts to stay away.

Mia Sheridan bleeds her heart into this book and if you read it , you will cry like me because you know the truth of this story. I loved its end with the positive message and I have to comment how much I liked the acknowledgements after the story.

I am so excited for what’s more to come!
