I am officially a fan of Juliette Cross! Don’t Hex and Drive is the second book in the Stay a Spell series and it was so much fun! This is a love story between a vampire and a witch and it was entertaining and steamy!
Isadora is the quiet sister, the introvert, the hermit. She loves herbs and animals but she does not do people. When a sexy vampire runs into her, she is all for distance. The thing is he does not leave her alone, especially when she can help him with the mystery of missing girls in the area.
Devraj might be a warrior vampire but he has never met a woman like Isadora. Her sassy but also shy personality works for him, as long as she can give him a chance.
I loved Devraj and his Indian background. He is caring, patient and really sensual. After many years of loneliness, he finds his soulmate and he is all in.
I liked that the author made the heroine an introvert but to be a little closed off does not mean being judgemental. Isadora in the beginning was a little rude for my taste.
These two needed to communicate a little more but when they are both in, it was so hot! They are burning the sheets!
As for the mystery part of the story, I would have liked more attention to the details.
The thing I love the most in this stories is how we come to care about all the sisters and their loved ones!
This book by Juliette Cross will definitely charm you!
