I love discovering new authors and when a friend I trust suggested this book, I took a chance and it paid off! Failure to Match is an enemies to lovers story with lots of banter and chemistry between the characters.
Jamie is a businesswoman in matchmaking services and Jackson is the nightmare of the company. He refuses all his matches and he is rude and insulting. Jamie has to take matters into her own hands but this backfires, so she has to move in with him as his dating coach.
Jackson might appear as spoiled billionaire in the beginning, but slowly he loses his gruff and he shows his underbelly. The first half of the book is a battle of wills between these two but then, when Jackson loses his defenses, the story becomes more romantic.
I loved their back and forth , the funny scenes and how the relationship changes into something hotter but also sweeter.
Failure to Match is an adorable love story and this will definitely not be the only one book I will try by this author!
