Zeke and Riley have known each other since kids but one tragic accident makes her hate him. She does not want anything to do with him but when they end up in the same college football team and become roommates, everything changes.
Riley is a kicker for the football team and what a surprise that was. This is the first time I read about a female player in the boys’ team and I loved it. She is a fierce girl who earns her spot and she is overall a badass. Sometimes, she is a bit stubborn and does not forgive easily, but she is a young woman in a men’s world and her heart fights with her logic.
Zeke is a boy who struggles with much but he is certain about one thing… about her. He is there when needed, he protects Riley and he is so undestanding about her troubles. He makes mistakes but he owns them. I really fell in love with his character.
These two are explosive together! Their banter, their attraction, their relationship is pure fire! I loved also their sweet moments, their tender scenes.
I cannot wait for more stories in this world as Kandi got a touchdown with this amazing book!
