Fangirl Down by Tessa Bailey is a sweet and steamy sports romance about a gruff golfer and his number one fan! I never would have thought that I would enjoy a book about golf but this couple was fun!
Wells is the classical boy of sports and although in the past he was a star, now he is angry, failing and ready to quit. Josephine is his biggest fan and his only support through his ups and downs. When he pushes her away and she is ready to forget him, a disaster happens and she is employed as his caddy.
Wells is such a broody hero. He is always pissed, he doesn’t like to talk to anyone, he is rude. Josephine though makes him hope and smile. I had no idea a hero could have such a crush on a girl, but Wells does. He is completely and totally smitten with her.
Josephine is good,a sunshine girl. She is caring, witty and I loved that she doesn’t back down. She puts Wells on his place and she enjoys it.
If you know Tessa’s writing style, you know that the chemistry is always scorching and this couple is no different! I don’t know how she does it in every book but she finds a way to write sexy scenes that will make you blush or cringe (sorry I had to say this; if you read the book, you will know what I mean).
Fangirl Down is a book that will make you smile with the banter, sexiness and cuteness! I am already ready for book two about their two best friends!
