Charleigh is a girl with a painful past and ready to bolt but River shows her that he can be her rock, the man who can support her. On the other hand, River with his band of brothers keep a dangerous life and he doesn’t know if he should open up.
I loved Charleigh and River’s relationship. You can see that they cannot resist each other but they take steps to fall in love. River is a single dad and his kid is one of the best aspects of the story. I loved each of the secondary characters and River’s sister makes you so excited about her story that follows.
Reading for so many years has made me seeing the twists beforehand and this was the case for this book too, but I am sure many will be surprised with how the story goes.
