A.L. Jackson is one of the best authors knowing how to write young characters. Why am I starting my review with this? Because Evan and Frankie Leigh had stolen our hearts since they were kids in the “Fight for Me” series. I rooted for their story but never expected the depth of their love! This book is full of emotions that will grip your heart start to finish!
Evan and Frankie Leigh have been best friends forever. They have grown up together and along with them their bond.

I have no words about the love between these two. The author shows from the beginning that they belong together even as kids. They both have made mistakes but they are one. He belongs to her and she belongs to him without a doubt.
Evan is a serious young man who is bleeding love and a little fear. Being different as a kid has made him more responsible but also with a weight on his shoulders. I love that when he comes back, he has grown up and knows that his family is everything. He fights for his love for Frankie Leigh.
Frankie Leigh is a delightful girl. She is sensitive, full of life and colorful. Her fear of getting hurt again is completely justified but she is brave to trust her heart and love she has for Evan. Their relationship is really sweet and heartwarming.
A.L. Jackson is an author that spills her soul and mind into her words. She is one of the most talented writers that knows how to evoke emotions. Her writing is like a caress to our skin, a warm hug that makes you smile and sigh. You can feel and not just read this book! I highly recommend it with my whole heart!
