Hot Shot is the last book in the American Royalty series by Robin Bielman and I was happy to be back with this amazing family! This book is cute and sexy and its hero is not only a hottie but a gentleman at heart.
Drew is a great businessman , he has a family that adores him but he misses a woman to share his life with. He is burned in his past but when he meets the irresistible brunette, the girl who has haunted his dreams , he is all in.
Alejandra has been put on hold by her boyfriend of seven years and for the last months, she is trying to see if there are still feelings. When a meddling grandma puts her in a fake relationship with her grandson, she starts to forget the ex and fall for Drew.
They might have started dating to fool an old woman but these two are lovely together.
After a little accident, I found a little peculiar that Drew and Alejandra agreed to live together without knowing each other but I have to admit that I loved the everyday things they shared. Their start is unconventional but when they fall , they are sweet and steamy.
Drew is a wonderful hero. He is patient, kind and caring. Alejandra is smart, honest and I admired how much she loved her work at a Senior Community center and the elderly she shared her life with.
Drew stole the show for me along with his grandmother who is a spitfire. I loved the sense of family and his devotion to it. Alejandra sometimes irked me. When you fall in love with someone , you put them first and she did not do it. She was with one foot in, one foot out of the relationship. The misunderstanding in the end made me a little angry and I found her behavior unjustified. I would have preferred if she was open with her situation from the start. I am glad to say though that their drama ended quickly.
Hot Shot is a light , relaxing story where you get to fall in love with a “royal” bachelor and a sassy girl!
