Winnie is our first heroine and she is a romantic at heart but she has sworn off men. When our grumpy hero moves next door with his two little girls, she cannot resist but nothing important can happen. So why not try a friends to benefits relationship?!
I loved Winnie as a kid but I loved her even more as an adult. Everyone is against her tend to fall in love quickly but I wish more people were like Winnie. She is sweet, kind and caring. Everyone would feel better if we were more open with our hearts and Winnie has one of gold. She is bubbly and easygoing and the perfect girl for gruff but sexy firefighter, Dex.
Dex is a man a little older and hurt by his previous relationship. His only focus is his two daughters and he is an amazing dad. He is not perfect but he does his best. Sometimes his anger brings out a bad attitude and I wanted to yell at him but he realizes his mistakes and asks for forgiveness.
The book is not called Ignite by mistake. These two are off the charts hot. They have chemistry and I loved how they opened up and shared their thoughts and feelings.
The secondary characters are perfect! It was amazing visiting old characters. Also, Dex’s two girls steal the show! They are so adorable and cute. I love the innocence of kids in romance books. I am really excited for the next book about the daughter of the couple from Frenched!
Ignite is a book like a warm hug. It will make you swoon, sigh and smile! Trust me and try this story!
