This book was in fact completely “Irresistible”! Melanie Harlow wrote a sweet and adorable love story between a single dad and the nanny of the kids! This book will leave you with a big smile on your face and hearts in your eyes.
Frannie is a sheltered girl, quiet and happy overall. She would be more satisfied though if her crush would give her some attention but it seems impossible. He is older, he is a dad of three little girls and she works with him and for him. It seems as just a dream but sometimes dreams come true.
Mack is a former Marine but it seems his life is falling apart. His ex wife doesn’t care about the kids and he is trying to give his all but sometimes even that seems little. Not only he is busy with his girls and his job, but there is Frannie with her sweet smiles who makes everything more complicated.
These two start a fun fling but their feelings run deep. Frannie is a kind and genuine woman who is so understanding of Mack’s life. I loved her attitude and her open heart. Mack is a gruff and serious man who has many things on his plate. You can really empathize with his vulnerabilities and his fears. Being a single parent is not easy and the author depicted it perfectly. His little daughters make the story so cute and seeing a big, strong guy being insecure about parenting makes it the loveliest.
This story will make you feel good and have happy feelings until the end. I cannot wait to see more of them and read more about how Frannie’s sisters will fall in love!
