New Review- Love Her or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey

My first five stars read of the year! Tessa Bailey usually wins me with the sexual chemistry of her characters and although, Love Her or Lose Her is scorching hot, it has emotional depth that moved me! I adored that this married couple not only did it do the effort to save its marriage but it also got to know each other again from the start.

Rosie has been with husband since she was a teenager but she is fed up with his silence and his lack of communication. She may love him but she does not know if she is still in love with him. Also, she feels lost and she has forgotten all of her dreams since she does not have him there to share them with. So, enough is enough and she gives him an ultimatum; divorce or couples’ counseling.

Dominic never expected for his wife to leave him but that she does. He finally sees that providing for her was not the only thing she needed. She wants his words and his heart to be open, so he has some changes to do. The only sure thing is that he has to win her over and make her come home.

I have no words to tell you how much I loved this couple. Rosie is a woman who finds her confidence again throughout the book and she realizes that for her marriage to work, she has to change too. She blooms with the help of her friends and she becomes an independent woman. Dominic is my favorite kind of hero. He is gruff, broody but when he opens up, he will touch your heart. He makes all these small moves that are the essence of romance and he truly cares for his wife.

It is not usual to see a romance book focused on a married couple that is in the verge of divorce but Tessa dove into the insecurities and the troubles of the couple with sincerity. I admired the fact that these two did not tear into each other. They realized their mistakes and tried to be better for the loved one and themselves.

Also, we get to read about the other couples and I like so much that the author depicts the importance of friendship where the friends are there to help you and lift you up.

I cannot wait for the next book where a spitfire girl and a playful cowboy are going to be explosive! Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and the author promises many battles of wills and bodies!
