Method by Kate Stewart is a clever, multidimensional, emotional story. This author took a complete new idea and transformed it into an angsty, full of feelings romance book. You will feel the high and the lows of the characters deeply into your heart.
Lucas is a famous, Hollywood star completely in love with his wife, Mila. Every time he gets a role in a movie , he dives wholeheartedly into the character living and breathing it, knowing though that his wife is always there waiting and rooting for him.
Mila has always been cautious about the job of her husband but her love is so deeply engraved, she can have patience because she knows she is the one for him.
When Lucas though loses his best friend, a new role into a film is his escape from grief. Mila no longer recognizes the man she has married and loves so she is heartbroken. Can she forgive him or giving up is her only choice?
This book has a lot of flashbacks between the past and the present. I liked knowing about how the met and fell in love but I think all this back and forth might be confusing for some readers.
You know from the start that this book is going to be entirely different but the twist this author created was extremely unique.
I liked both characters especially Mila and their love is deep and their journey emotional. After the reveal of what was going on, things moved a little too fast for my taste. She forgave him too easily and I have to admit I wanted to know or see them talk more for them to have their happy end.
Although I didn’t agree with all the choices these characters make, I have to applaud the author’s creativity! This book is refreshing, interesting and exciting and you will definitely want to read it if you crave for something new!
