Runaway Love by Melanie Harlow is such a cute and fun and hot story! Melanie’s books are like a ray of sunshine in our tiring lives!
Veronica has just learned that her soon to be husband is a liar and a cheater. She runs away with nothing in her possession and finds herself on the doorstep of the grumpiest man in Cherry Tree Harbor. She needs a job and somewhere to stay and he needs desperately a nanny for his twins.
Austin is a single dad, a responsible man, a hardworker and Veronica is like a tornado that comes into his life. Except chaos though she brings something that he has not had in years… fun and happiness and love.
I loved their relationship. They are so opposite in any way but they balance each other. Veronica has spunk, sass and never gives up. I admired her resilience. Austin is loyal, honest and a family man. They might be different but let me tell you that in bed or everywhere else-lol- they are so compatible! These two are not perfect for sure but they are perfect for each other!
I also liked the secondary characters especially Austin’s siblings! I cannot wait for their story!
This is a wonderful start to this new series and Runaway Love is a feel good book that will make you stay in bed until you finish it in one go!
