Stone Princess by Devney Perry is my favorite of the series! This book has less suspense and it is just a pure, sweet love story that reminds me of this author’s previous writing.
Presley has been between the MC club for years and with a tortured past , she has found her new family. When left at the altar, she is now hurt and determined not to let another man in her wounded heart.
Shaw is a Hollywood star but needs stability and calmness. When he goes to a small town in Montana, he is enchanted by the sassy “pixie”. He is not used to “no” but the woman wants nothing to do with him.
These two are fun together. Presley has her walls up but Shaw with his humor and flirty ways makes her smile again. He is also there when she needs him and she is there to challenge him.
Presley is a wonderful character . Despite her small size, she is smart and logical and speaks her mind. Shaw is nothing like the usual Hollywood stars. He is noble and down to earth. He is a family man and he is like a boy next door.
I love the fact that this story is focused on the relationship of the couple and not MC business.
The author prepares us for the next book and our lovely cop will have his hands full with the feisty heroine. I cannot wait!
