I found this couple cute. Kerrigan is a strong, smart girl who does not give up. Pierce appears unforgiving in the beginning but his past has hurt him. When they lower their defenses, their relationship is sweet and sexy.
This is an insta-lust/love book and I have to say that I do not like when the guy sees a girl and he gets aroused without a reason. Also, I did not like how Pierce’s secret got handled. I did not find his reasons to stay away without telling something to her logical .
I cannot wait to read the next book about Pierce’s best friend and his assistant as enemies to lovers is my favorite trope!
