This couple grew up during the book and although Gavin was the one needed the advice, he was not the only one who had to think about things. Thea has lost herself and I loved that slowly she finds her confidence and is not closed off to her husband’s courting. She respects him despite her sadness.
Gavin truly sees his wife as a woman and not only as a partner and a mom. Communication is the key to a successful marriage and these two learn how to listen and talk again. It is not an easy ride but when life is?
After reading the book , you will wish of giving some romance stories to your partner , so they can take some hints but overall, it will make you think about yourself too. This is a light love story despite the problems these two face. It gives you hope that you can keep your happily ever after and have a second chance at love and life!
