I love Kerrigan Byrne’s books but I could not have believed that I would enjoy this novella so much! I had so much fun reading this short Christmas story.
Vanessa is a woman ruined and ignored by her family. She travels alone to see the world but an accident brings her to a haunted room in an Inn. She prefers to spend her time there than face the dangerous men that wait outside.
Johnathan has been a ghost without a purpose for so many years. He is feared by many but not by the extraordinary girl that comes to his room. When he sees her something in him awakens.
Their passion is combustible but they have only one night to enjoy together.
I loved both characters. Vanessa is a strong, independent woman curious about life and the mysteries of it. She is clever with a modern thinking. Johnathan does not hold back. He is bold, dynamic and sexy.
This is such a cute and hot story with a dose of magic!
