The final book in the Cloverleigh Farms is here and what an awesome ending it is! It’s an enjoyable second chance romance with lots of chemistry and sweet times!
April is the last single Sawyer sister and she is yearning for a family and a happily ever after. She has to face the regrets of her past but she is stronger and more determined than ever. A ghost from her teenage years though brings a sexy chaos in her life and she has to make some decisions.
Tyler had everything. He was a famous baseball player, he had lots of money and every woman he wanted. And then… disaster! He lost his athletic touch and his career and he prefers spending his time away from the cruel paparazzi. When his sister forces him to be back in his hometown, he sees again his friend and old crush from his past, April.
April and Tyler have lost touch all these years but they have many secrets to share. Their relationship is fun, hot and with no attachments. They both see though that they crave more but are they ready to dig deeper to their emotions so they can move on?
I have to say that I expected this book to have more angst but I was glad to see that April was such a mature heroine. The author faces a delicate situation with sensitivity and she sheds a positive light to it, something that I really liked. April is a caring young woman who knows what she wants. She has a really cool and logical attitude.
Tyler is funny and flirty and behind his cocky facade hides an insecure boy. I have to admit that sometimes he irked me because of his fixation with baseball and his inability to see beyond that but in the end, he redeems himself. I would have liked to see a more gradual transformation of his character.
I love that all the Sawyer sisters found their soulmates but I am surely going to miss them! If you want to read a series about family, love and have a fun time, then go for it!
