New Review- Reason to Believe by Rebecca Yarros

Reason to Believe by Rebecca Yarros came like a little rain which then became a storm in my heart that thirsts for romance. This story is really touching and emotional without missing the heat.

Harper is a school teacher and when her student and his baby brother need a home, she opens her hug for them. The thing is she only has a flooded apartment so one small favor from her long-time crush is her only solution.

Knox has always been attracted to Harper, his best friend’s little sister but she is off limits. He can help her though by giving his home to her and the two kids.

When he returns a little early to rebuild his father’s hotshot firefighting team, he has to live with his temptation.

Harper is a woman who has always loved our hero. She is steady, strong and logical. She knows what she wants and she is not afraid to take the risk of being hurt.

Knox has a past and almost no family. Harper’s brother and even Harper are his closest people and he does not want to be left alone. I liked the fact that although he was reluctant, he always treated Harper with respect. Even his relationship with her brother was mature and he did not hide his attraction.

The author wrote an amazing love story but the essence of it was the sense of family. I loved how spot on was the process of custody/adoption and I felt so deeply what the couple went through.

I have always liked Rebecca’s books but as time passes, her stories become even better and her writing more insightful.

Believe me this is a story that needs to be read! It was a wonderful start that promises another great series!
