I am not a huge fan of MC books as they are a hit or miss for me, so I was reluctant to read this series but Devney knows what she does and she made me fall in love with these books more and more. I am sad to see this series ending but what an exciting journey!
Emmett is our last Tin Gypsy member to fall in love and he went all out! After his father’s death by the rival MC club, he wants no attachments. So, when a beautiful bomshell offers a no strings affair, he is all in. The problem is that the more time they spend together, the more he wants her permanently in his life.
Nova has always wanted a better relationship with her father. When he is imprisoned, he needs her help to get revenge on their enemy. She cannot not accept, but after falling in Emmett’s bed, she finds her peace and love she has always wanted.
There is no suspense in this book as the others but for me it had the most angst. You know from the start that Nova’s lies and secrets are going to destroy them and you just wait for the inevitable.
I loved their relationship as it started as lust and slowly they fell in love through their quiet moments. Emmett was a wonderful hero and I admired his openess and his honesty. Nova made many mistakes and although, she was slow to acknowlegde them, she was sorry in the end. I would have liked to see her remorse earlier meaning to stop her plans and fall more deeply in love but she wanted the aproval of her father more than anything.
Tin Queen is a book about forgiveness, healing and love. It’s about accepting your flaws and your mistakes but choosing to move on. I did not want this series to end but what a lovely feeling to see everyone finding their soulmate and live a happily ever after.
